I'm Matthew Novelli. I'm a video editor, graphic designer, and Sophomore at Wheaton North High School. I've had around four years of experience in the field of digital media. I'm a spring/winter athlete and part of the high honor roll.

I've been editing and filming since elementary school. I started out with Windows Movie Maker, a point-and-shoot, and a goal to make great videos. Now I'm shooting with professional equipment and editing with professional software. I use advanced cameras and Final Cut Pro X on a daily basis for my Broadcast Media class.

While in this class, I've learned my strengths and weaknesses and how I operate as a creative entity. I can always figure out how to achieve a desired effects or animation. When it comes to filming I am able to do preproduction, camera, angles, lighting, and collaboration. I'm also part of the weekly video news team at my school. I brainstorm for Falcon Weekly at monthly meetings.

Since school began I have been hard at work on new projects. Being in the advanced Broadcast Media class means I have a wider variety of projects to choose from. So far I have created an autobiography, two school promos, a local commercial, and a recreation of a scene from The Matrix. These first semester projects can be found here, on the projects page.
